It is with a broken heart that I share with you the news of Rabbi Richard Levine's passing. He died during Shabbat, surrounded by loved ones. At this time of sadness, I know you will join me in offering our communal support to Judi and Rabbi Levine's loving family.

RABBI RICHARD A., February 28, 2014, of Voorhees, NJ. Husband of Judi (nee Nunn-Chaikin) Levine. Father of Ari (the late William Monnich, Jr.) Levine, Ron (Kim) Levine, Brian (Iris Caesar) Golder, Jason (Lisa) Chaikin, Deborah (Chealsea Nather) Golder, Matthew Chaikin, Samantha (David Halpern) Chaikin, Yael (Doug) Emenecker and Shira (Lior) Keet. Brother of Rhoda (the late Dr. Jack) Cohen and Robert (Helen) Levine. Grandfather of Kyle, Hunter, Jericho & Levi Chaikin; Jake, Rebecca & Jordyn Levine; Jadyn, Liam & Caleb Keet; Nadav Emenecker; and Noa & Asher Halpern.
Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday beginning 10:00AM to Adath Emanu-El, 205 Elbo Lane, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054 where funeral services will begin promptly at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Shiva will be observed at Adath Emanu-El on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. The family will receive at the synagogue from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm followed by Minyan services at 7:00 pm. Other shiva times will be private.
Contributions may be made to the Rabbi Richard Levine Good Works Fund, c/o Adath Emanu-El, 205 Elbo Lane, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. These contributions will be divided among his beloved charities including Adath Emanu-El, the Jewish National Fund and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
